The Gables: Set on the top story of our amazing building is ‘The Gables’. This elegant function room with high ceilings a plenty of room is great for any formal birthday occasion. Catering up to 300 guests with you own private bar. With access from Lydiard Street and a chair lift to help get those who need up and down stairs this room is perfect for a more elegant birthday celebration.

The Band Room: Located at the rear of the building with direct access to the car park, our ‘Band Room’ is perfect for those more informal parties. With plenty of seating, a large bar and a giant stage this room is perfect for those who want to party the night away. The room looks great with 30 people upto 400 people. It has a dedicated dance floor for those wishing to dance to the sounds of a live band or a DJ.

Ivy (The old Canopy Club): Located in the basement of the building is IVY, one of Ballarat’s Hottest nightspots. With its rustic bar and bluestone walls it has come a long way from the 70’s and 80’s. The room caters for up to 150-200 people with plenty of space and different areas to cater for people looking to relax and have a chat through to getting the boggie on the dance floor.

The Fox Room: Located in the lower floor of the main Bistro is our Fox Room, it’s a private space for those who are on a budget and want a private area to enjoy a sit down meal with family and friends. The room is filled with timeless paintings and stuffed animals giving you a private environment to enjoy your night. The Fox Room can set upto 70 people

The Beer Garden: Located outside our lower level of the Bistro is our beer garden great for those Summer Evening birthday parties, with a dedicated bar, plenty of space and that classic beer garden feel our beer garden is perfect for smaller parties requiring a casual relaxed space.

* Minimum spend of $1500 is required for all functions, purchase of platters will count towards minimum spend. (Excludes deposit, security charge, entertainment booked via us)
* $400 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your function, if minimum spend is met this $400 can be used to pay off Bar Tabs, Platters or refunded.
* Management reserves the right to charge $55p/h for security for a function
* The Beer Garden is mostly uncovered and only available during summer months.
* IVY is available for use until 10pm from 10pm it is open to the general public
* Microphone not available in Fox Room
* Hirer to organise own music unless booked via us, if you like we can play House Music which we have no control over what is played.
* Hirer is to understand the Terms and Conditions as set out in function booking form which will be supplied at time of booking
